Overview
Infoskjerm supports Discord OAuth and traditional email/password login. Use Discord when possible for fewer passwords to manage.
If you are already logged in, visiting /login usually redirects you to the dashboard.
Discord login
Recommended method:
- Open the login page
- Click Login with Discord
- Authorize Infoskjerm on Discord
- You return to Infoskjerm already signed in
Benefits: no extra password, profile username/avatar from Discord, and Discord-managed authentication.
Email and password login
- Open the login page
- Enter your registered email and password
- Click Sign In
Verify your email before first login if the site requires verification.
First-time users
Create an account with Discord (Register with Discord) or with email on the registration page. Discord registration creates the account after you authorize the app.
Login troubleshooting
- Discord: clear cache/cookies, try another browser, confirm HTTPS and JavaScript
- Email: confirm the address is verified and the password is correct
- General: disable conflicting extensions, check system status, try an incognito window
Password recovery
Use Forgot password on the login page. Check spam for the reset email. Reset links expire after a short time (often about 10 minutes).
Account security
- Prefer Discord login or a unique strong password
- Enable MFA when available for admin accounts
- Sign out on shared devices
